Banno Admin Session Management Updates
With the rollout of Jack Henry Identity for Banno Admin authentication (login.banno.com), all users are now required to use multi-factor authentication during login. With this protection in place, we have increased the session timeout for login.banno.com to 24 hours.
This change allows financial institution employees to remain logged in for the full duration of the session without interruption. Note that no changes were made to the inactivity timer – if someone is signed out due to inactivity, that will still begin a new session (upon login).
Reminder: Your employees are able to logout of Banno Admin as usual. However, to fully end their authenticated session, they will need to log out of login.jackhenry.com as well. As more products integrate to Jack Henry Identity, this session logout experience will allow your staff to stay logged in across products as they deem fit.
