Timing of Authy Removal for Banno Admin
As you’re likely well aware from our previous communications, including the December Statement, we’ll soon stop supporting Authy as a 2FA method for Banno Admin. However, we’ve decided to delay Authy removal slightly – until early- to mid-February 2026. That gives your employees a little extra time to enroll in one or more supported 2FA method/s:
- Voice/text
- Authenticator app
- Security keys
- Passkeys
Since Jack Henry Identity now allows multiple 2FA methods, we recommend that users enroll in their preferred method, plus at least one backup method.
Reminder: This will also affect Treasury Management and Jack Henry Platform admins who use Jack Henry Identity for authentication.
