Jack Henry Identity: Federation to Entra ID
Jack Henry Identity now supports identity federation to Entra ID in addition to Active Directory. This allows more flexibility for your financial institution to determine which identity provider works best for your team.
While the added flexibility is an obvious win, it’s also important to understand that this configuration will impact the user experience in various ways. As one example, once federation is configured, all self-service password rules and resets will be handled within Entra ID.
Future enhancement
Jack Henry Identity does not yet support group-mapping for Entra ID, so your administrators will currently need to manage access permissions for each integrated product (such as Banno) in both Entra ID and the integrated product separately. Supporting group-mapping is an enhancement we have on the radar, but there’s no timeline to share yet.
